Overview| Maco Lighting's wireless technology allows centrally controlled emergency light fittings to be installed without needing control lines to be installed throughout a building. The wireless devices create a wireless mesh and repeat messages along the network to other devices. Using a wireless interface also makes it easier to expand the network and install extra devices as it does not require additional control wires to be added. Additionally the emergency devices do not need to be supplied from the same power source, or be a part of the same tenancy. Being a wireless network makes it easy to retrofit existing buildings.
The wireless devices have the same features of Maco Lighting's DALI emergency devices so they still have the same functionality, reliability and power savings. The devices have been designed to behave in accordance with the DALI standard while not actually using the DALI interface. - No requirement for control wires
