Connecting to the Control Interface

To connect to the Maco Lighting control interface over a local network the control device must be set up with a fixed IP address on the local network.

Connecting a Mobile Device

To connect a mobile device it must first be connected to the local network over a wireless access point. The exact way to do this will vary according to the device and how the wireless access point is configured. Usually the name of the wireless network and a security key will need to be entered into the mobile device. Sometime the wireless MAC address of the device will need to be registered with the access point before it can connect.

Once the mobile device has network access its browser should be directed to http://[controller IP]:9000/mobile where [controller IP] is the fixed IP address of the controller device. It is recommended that a bookmark to this page be created so the user can easily return to the page later.

For added security the user may be required to log in before being able to access the page.
