Commission Tool E-DALI Support

Commission Tool fully supports the 3 Byte Enhanced DALI command structure over DALI lines.  Many manufacturers use E-DALI to provide extra, custom functionality.  Commission Tool can send custom E-DALI commands via the Send Dali Tab and can be updated to communicate with proprietary devices, as requested.

Commission Tool also supports the MACO E-DALI Addressing Method, in which peripheral devices are stored and communicated with via E-DALI. This allows devices to be installed onto existing, full DALI lines without requiring any modifications.   These devices are displayed in a separate "Virtual" Device Tree and can be easily migrated to and from the regular DALI address tree.
